APDA VA Dedicated Veteran I&R Center in Reno, NV located at 975 Kirman Ave provides educational and emotional support to Parkinson disease patients and their families. Established in 1990, the Center provides Support Groups, Exercise Programs and APDA webinars as follows:

Founded in 1961, APDA is the largest grassroots network dedicated to fighting Parkinson's disease. Mission: The I&R Center, which is a joint affiliation between the VA Sierra Nevada Healthcare System (VASNHCS) and the Sierra Veterans Research and Education Foundation (SVREF), is a centralized resource dedicated to supporting and improving the lives of Veterans with Parkinson’s Disease. We also serve the general public, caregivers, allied health professionals, and physicians in Northern Nevada and Northern California who would like additional information.
